LABOR DAY LOVIN'!

HAPPY LABOR DAY!!!

Today is the day.........that signifies that we can no longer wear white pants until Memorial Day. Shucks, I was really hoping to get to wear mine again! JK, I really don't pay attention to any of those silly fashion rules. I will do as I please and when I please. Am I right!?

Alrighty then...Anyhow, here's a little shopping math for ya!

HOLIDAYS = SALES

SALES = CHLOE + ISABEL 40% OFF

CHLOE + ISABEL 40% OFF = YOU SHOPPING MY BOUTIQUE:)

If you passed elementary school math and understood those simple equations then you should be shopping these lovely pieces right now. But in case I still have your attention, here are a few style photos to entice you to click here and spoil yourself.

These are just SOME of the sale pieces. You can shop them all here by clicking on the sale collection or the sale tab.

If I have still failed to entice you to check out these A-MA-ZING, HGH QUALITY, FASHION JEWELRY PIECES, then I should probably begin to focus my energy on other outlets and marketing strategies and YOU should begin to feel remorse for failing to take advantage of such remarkable prices.

And if you are STILL reading, then have a fantastic Labor day and be safe! :)

Fashion Find Friday

In efforts to grow my blog and stay consistent with my posts I thought it may be fun to do regular themed postings. So...for now, Fridays will be dedicated to sharing some of my favorite fashion finds either inspired by celebrity looks or random new fab pieces!

Today I wanted to share how to get Carrie Underwood's CMA Fest Look. She was absolutely adorable in her edgy country outfit. She was one hundred percent on trend with her headband, arm party, fringed tee, patriotic shorts and combat boots.

With these fashion finds below you can get her look for yourself!

Hope you love Carrie's look as much as I do! Have a great weekend! :)

Braid. Beach. Bum.

Hey ya'll!

So, I am a member of the Collegiate Merchandising Association and I got the chance to be a guest blogger for FSU's fashion magazine, Clutch's, blog this week! Super exciting, even though I always lack all creativity when I need it the most. Anyhow, I saw the idea of creating designs with bleach. I came up with my own anchor bleach dyed spring break tank for their blog which you can find here.

For them I kept it short and sweet, but I really wanted to braid the straps as well for a cuter more detailed look. So, I'll show you all how to do that!

First, using your scissors poke a hole in the fabric at the top of the horizontal seam, and cut downward along the neckline hem about 6 inches. Make sure you don't go too far because you will end up with an awkward gap in the braid.

Next, poke another hole along the horizontal hem and the arm opening hem on the opposite side and cut down as shown below until you reach equal points on both sides.

Repeat first two steps on the other side. Be careful not too cut the straps too far or cut through the back, cause that would be bad.

Now you should have three strings to your strap. Braid these together.

Hand sew a couple of stitches across the braid to keep it in place.

Ta-Dah! :)

Have a good and safe spring break everyone!

LST

New York Fashion Week

I don't know about you all, but I would love to attend the Mercedes Benz Fashion Week in the near future. It is currently taking place in New York until February 14th!

A good amount of the fashion shows are live streamed on http://newyork.mbfashionweek.com/live. They also rebroadcast the shows all day long, in case you miss them!

Some of the best ones coming up that will be live streamed are:

Monique Lhuillier: Feb. 9th @ 7PM

DianeVon Furstenburg: Feb 10th @ 4PM

Betsey Johnson: Feb. 11th @ 5PM

Badgley Mischka: Feb 12th @ 10AM

Vera Wang: Feb 12th @ 11AM

Michael Kors: Feb 13th @ 10AM

Most shows begin broadcasting from the venue at that time, but the shows don't typically start until 25 minutes later.

I have been watching them off and on all day today and yesterday. I really enjoyed Czar by Cesar Galindo, Herve Leger by Max Azria, Nicole Miller, and Nautica.

I had a brilliant idea to screen shot some of the looks during the Nautica show.

I enjoyed the entire Nautica collection, but this one outfit just cracked me up. Like why the belt over the sweater like that?? It totally emasculates the poor guy. But, none the less, he was still really cute as were all of the male models.

You all should be sure to catch some of these great shows! I will keep watching and post some more thoughts in a couple days.
