 Trend Alert: Dark Green Nail Polish

With the Pantone color of the year being Emerald, you bet it was going to show up in nail polish colors as well. Fall 2013 will be full of warm tones, especially greens and browns. As you can see in the photo below, I am not making this up.

So while I was scrolling down Instaville last week, a photo of liquid sand nail polish caught my eye! After I figured out exactly who makes it and where I could get it from, I knew I had to have it immediately! I headed to Ulta the next day and picked up OPI Liquid Sand color: "What wizardry is this?" I really wish I was kidding, but I'm not, that really is the name. 

Anyhow, the nail polish is super awesome because it has a rough texture to it that is much different than your typical nail polish. For that reason it is more of a matte finish. The color I got, which I refuse to repeat, is kind of a dark greenish brown color, perfect for the fall months. It is still dark without being black and it has a bit of glitter in it to make up for the lack of shininess. 

The picture I took just really doesn't do it justice. Overall, I do really like the look and feel of the polish but it does chip VERY easily.
