Pacsun
My favorite purchase, but also the one that will probably get worn the least, would be this dress I got from Pacsun. This black and white tribal print dress made by LA Hearts is just the perfect little dress to run around in. I love it because it fits perfectly, looks amazing on, has a cutout in the back and it is really comfortable! Something I could wear to school or out to dinner. You can buy the dress here.
Target
Target is an absolute go to store for everything! They are definitely killing Walmart in the fashion category as competing big box retailers. Target never fails to provide trendy, cute, and affordable clothes! They have an awesome selection and I can't walk in there without buying something! I got these 2 tanks just because they were adorable.
The purple tank with leather details is great because I don't have a whole lot of purple in my wardrobe, plus the leather gives it an edgy look that will be a great transition into fall! I plan on pairing it with some black skinnies and edgy accessories, like this leather bracelet I have been dying to get! It will be an easy piece to dress up with a blazer for a night downtown (as if I ever go out haha).
I have an obsession with black and white, prints and stripes especially. So, I just had to have this casual tank.
Macy's
I was on a mission to find some jeans that actually fit me well and when I discovered that Delia's had moved I almost had a melt down in front of the giant M&M's store. Macy's was my next best option. After sifting through all of their jeans I ended up with an armful of various sizes, brands, fits, and washes. Thank goodness the Levi's fit the bill. They are my first pair of Levi's, woot-woot! lol
In the midst of my mission to find jeans, I stumbled across this adorable tank, that I couldn't turn down! It's perfect right!? I have seen the same screen print online before, but with it in my hands I couldn't say no. The back is even awesome with a cutout twisted design, that I can't, for the life of me, figure out how to do.
One of my favorite stores?? Definitely not, but they do have some great essentials. Like these camis that I couldn't live without! I had to force myself to purge the nasty old ones with these fresh new ones.
And then the yoga pants. I'm not about spending $$ on the VS yoga pants, I mean these are just the same, colorful, fold over band yoga pants. I believe I got them for $25. Super comfy! Definitley check them out before you splurge on the VS ones. Then again, I don't wear yoga pants out of the house, so I don't really care what they look like as long as I feel good.
Cotton On
I'm not sure if Cotton On is a large franchise or not. I have only seen the one at The Florida Mall and it is a pretty solid store. They have cute clothes and the prices are pretty dang good too!
It was not a planned stop on our mall haul, but I found some good pieces.
Yes, I am guilty of buying 4 tank tops in August, but I know that I will get some wear out of them in this FL heat. With 2 country concerts on the books, this plaid button down tank was too good to not get.
I've worn more jeans this summer than ever before, because I don't like any of my shorts! I thought I would get a pair to wear on those hot days walking from class to class all day. I'm really diggin' these tribal prints!!
I also got these pants that are similar to Harem pants without the long crotch...I don't know how else to explain it. But they are a lightweight pant, with a drawstring waist and a narrow ankle. I think they'll look best with a black tank and a silver statement necklace. Simple, but classy. Casual, but chic.
Honestly, they look pretty awful in this pic and on their website, but I'm hopeful they will look better on me. haha *fingers crossed*
This is just a sneak peek at what clothes I'll be featuring over then next couple of weeks.
Let me know what you all think! And follow me on bloglovin' and GFC---> links on the right!
Love,
