Yesterday was my first day of class as a Junior at Florida State! I had a VERY early start compared to my usual summer days of sleeping in til noon.
I was ready a little early so I figured I would take some first day selfies. Haha Yes, I realize how lame this seems, but don't lie, we're all guilty of taking mirror selfies.
Outfit Deets
What I love about this outfit is the contrast between the necklace and the tank top. The blue color burst necklace is more of a floral piece which contrasts against the stripes of the tank top. The necklace is more dressy, while the tank top ( from Target) is extremely casual - yet somehow the difference between the two still manages to create a cohesive semi-causal outfit. If the necklace had been multi-colored it would be too distracting, but the varying blue hues add just enough color to catch one's attention.
Having two contrasting pieces in an outfit can make it difficult to achieve an appealing look, but this is just the right amount.
One a side note, I can't wait for football season to start! GO NOLES!
