Planning for the Future

Today, I attended the Seminole Futures Career Fair in hopes to find a great company to internship with over the summer! The great part about my major is that there are tons of job opportunities that would be well suited, the bad part is I have a lot of competition! I mean, get outta here business students, this is my territory! Just kidding...but not really. Anyhow, I got to speak with representatives from Bealls Inc., Kohl's, Macy's, Dollar Tree, Ross, Save A Lot and Target. The difficult part about finding an internship as only a sophomore is that many employers are looking for Juniors and Seniors. Not Fair! I wanna get experience, now! Haha. So anyhow, hopefully I can manage to pull something off with Macy's, as they are currently my top pick for employers. Fingers crossed!

This is what I wore for the career fair! (I really do need to work on taking pics of my outfits, sorry, they are all terrible, but you get the point!)

Kohl's and JCPenny are great places to shop for business attire on a budget. They have wide selection of appropriate apparel and the majority of their merchandise is always on sale!

And this is how I felt after I left. A bit overwhelmed and unsure about what to do!! EEK.

I also, wore my hair back in a nice pony tail, because apparently that is what you are supposed to do if your hair exceeds shoulder length (I guess to look more manly and hopefully be taken more seriously).

I am super excited for what the future may hold!
